I’ve been a Burkie for over 7 years. I am a Project Manager, so I’ve had the privilege of working with just about every department at our company. We have something here at Burke that we call Purple Passion. This enthusiasm runs through each area. We stay focused on our customers and our products while working together to manufacture the most amazing play spaces. I personally like to make an impact on my fellow employees by collaborating on projects that make a difference in their work day. I may not design, sell or weld our playgrounds, but I know that what I do helps to bring play to our world!

I joined the Burke team ten years ago and while we’ve grown as a company, we’ve really maintained that small company feel which I love. As part of my role as the Communications and Education Manager, I get to be involved in so many cool things – providing content for our website and catalog, research, product development, inclusion, community projects, education and providing CEUs for Parks and Recreation and Landscape Architect professionals. The company has a passion for play and for community which ties directly to my personal passions and working here allows me to combine what I love with what I do for work – a win-win for sure.
